Most couples love the romance of forging, shaping, and polishing the band that their partner will wear forever. Do we need experience? Not at all. This workshop is designed for complete beginners. I will guide you step-by-step through the entire process. What metals can we use? We use sterling silver. For yellow, white, or rose gold, contact me 3 to 4 weeks in advance so I can source it. How much will materials cost? Silver bands are £15–£40 per pair. Gold depends on daily market rates and size. I will provide a quote before class. Can we personalise them? Yes! Use professional stamps and hammers to add initials, dates, or textures to the inside or outside of your bands. Do we get them hallmarked? UK hallmarking isn't required for standard silver bands so you can take them home on the day, but we offer an optional stamp for £65 per couple. When should we book? We recommend booking 2 to 3 months before your wedding day to leave plenty of time if you choose to send your rings off for hallmarking.
